General Cleaner

Job Summary: The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and organized environment in shopping malls, schools, hospitals, offices, and other commercial facilities. The role includes cleaning floors, washrooms, stores, common areas, classrooms, hospital wards, and other assigned locations while following health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors to maintain cleanliness. Clean, sanitize, and disinfect washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures. Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage according to company procedures. Dust and wipe furniture, windows, glass doors, counters, and other surfaces. Clean shopping mall common areas, corridors, escalators, elevators, and entrances. Maintain cleanliness in school classrooms, offices, libraries, laboratories, and playground areas. Clean hospital wards, waiting areas, corridors, patient rooms, and public facilities while following hygiene and infection control procedures. Organize and clean store rooms and ensure cleaning supplies are properly stored. Replenish consumables such as tissue paper, soap, hand sanitizer, and paper towels. Remove stains, spills, and litter promptly from all assigned areas. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, polishers, and mops safely. Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor. Follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and infection control procedures. Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer instructions. Assist with deep cleaning and periodic cleaning schedules. Perform any other cleaning duties assigned by the supervisor.
